New Forests Advisory
New Forests consults to business, government and NGO clients around the world on opportunities in environmental markets. Building on specialty knowledge in forestry, New Forests takes a whole-of-ecosystem approach to uncover the multiple layers of value provided by land-based assets. These assets have unrealised carbon sequestration, water supply, water filtration, soil regulation, biodiversity habitat and recreational values. The Company works to identify these ecological assets, analyze routes to market and develop commercialization strategies. This work includes identifying and valuing assets, marketing environmental products and structuring transactions. New Forests has advised clients in Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the United States and is currently working with clients on achieving accreditation in regulatory carbon trading schemes and developing commercial strategies related to voluntary carbon markets.
