Australian Assets
New Forests manages approximately 20,000 hectares of land across, Southwest Victoria, Southern South Australia and southwest Western Australia. Located in the premium forestry regions of Australia, this land is leased to forestry investors. New Forests manages the land and the carbon pool associated with this AU$50 million asset.
The Company also manages an additional 8,500ha in Northern New South Wales. Over the next two years New Forests will transform the use of this property, shifting it from grazing and cropping, and establishing approximately half of the area to sustainably managed hardwood plantations.
