David Skilton

David Skilton is responsible for the development and management of New Forests’ forest management information systems that support acquisition and operational activities. David has 12 years experience in forest management, timberland investment, wood supply analysis and primary industry economics. Prior to joining New Forests, David worked with Pöyry Forest Industry assisting clients in the acquisition, disposition and valuation of plantation forest assets, as well the purchase and expansion of processing facilities. He has a broad base of international experience, including assignments in Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, southern Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, China, the Solomon Islands and South Africa. David has a Bachelor of Forest Science (1st Class Honours) from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand. He is based in Sydney.
