Megan Struthers

Manager, Resource Management Systems

Megan Struthers, Manager, Resource Management Systems,manages technical analysis and modeling for New Forests' acquisitions and assets under management in Australasia. In this role, she supports New Forests' funds and separate accounts through development and maintenance of asset and fund models, providing technical forestry and carbon analysis, and working with the operations team on asset management. Megan brings 10 years experience in timberland investment analysis, forest management, planning and research and has worked in the US, Australia and New Zealand. Prior to joining New Forests, Megan worked with Hancock Natural Resource Group supporting Hancock's timberland investment management business in the US and Australasia including facilitating investment management functions in New Zealand, acquisitions and dispositions support, strategic initiatives and market analysis. Previously Megan was Director of the Program on Landscape Management with the Global Institute of Sustainable Forestry at Yale University and has held operational forestry roles in the US and New Zealand. Megan has a Bachelor of Science in Forest Management and Resource Conservation from the University of Washington and a Master's of Forest Science from Yale University. She is based in New Zealand.
