Megan Struthers

Manager, Operations Australia-Pacific

Megan Struthers is responsible for overseeing operations of New Forests’ assets under management in New Zealand and Hawaii. Megan brings 10 years experience in forest management, timberland investment analysis, planning, and research and has worked in the U.S., Australia, and New Zealand. Prior to joining New Forests, Megan worked with Hancock Natural Resource Group supporting Hancock’s timberland investment management business in the U.S. and Australasia including facilitating investment management functions in New Zealand, acquisitions and dispositions support, strategic initiatives and market analysis. Previously Megan was Director of the Program on Landscape Management with the Global Institute of Sustainable Forestry at Yale University and has held operational forestry roles in the US Pacific Northwest. Megan has a Bachelor of Science in Resource Conservation and Forest Management from the University of Washington and a Masters of Forest Science from Yale University. She is based in Northland, New Zealand.
