Ben Guillon, Manager of Acquisitions, is responsible for biodiversity, carbon and water related investments supporting New Forests' U.S. business. Ben manages the acquisitions process, including financial modeling, business planning, negotiation, due diligence and transaction support. He also contributes to international advisory work related to environmental markets opportunities. Prior to joining New Forests, Ben spent 5 years as a consultant with the World Bank, the International Finance Corporation, the United Nations and foreign governments on work related to natural resource management policy and environmental finance. Ben has a multidisciplinary academic background, including a Doctorate degree in Veterinary Medicine from the School of Veterinary Medicine of Alfort (France), a Masters of Public Administration in Environment, Forest, Water and Agriculture Management and Master Degrees in Environmental Economics, Environmental Anthropology and Biology/Ecology. Ben is based in New Forests' Washington, D.C. office.
