Darius Sarshar

Darius Sarshar, Manager, Eco Products Asia, is responsible for the operational management of the company's regional ecosystem services investments. Darius has 15 years experience working in forestry and the environment in more than 25 countries. Prior to joining New Forests, he worked as a consultant and adviser to WWF. This included 5 years as the Global Producer Group Coordinator at WWF's Global Forest & Trade Network, where he drove the expansion of the network into Asia, Africa, Latin America and Eastern Europe. He has also worked as Director of the SGS global FSC certification programme, Qualifor, and as a community forestry advisor, forest manager and field biologist. Darius has a Bachelor (honors) and Masters in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, UK and a Masters of Science in Forestry from the University of Oxford.
