James Bullen, Manager, Operations, Australia-Pacific is responsible for the operational management of New Forests' assets under management in Australia and the Pacific. James has 10 years experience in all aspects of the technical management of large, FSC accredited forestry projects, including establishment, silviculture, harvesting and forest engineering. He has worked in Malaysia, New Zealand, the Solomon Islands, the United Kingdom and the U.S. Prior to joining New Forests, James worked as Forest Operations Manager for the Malaysian Government on a 490,000 hectare sustainable multi-use reforestation project. He was responsible for the day-to-day forest operations of establishing 18,000 hectares of plantations per annum and 50,000 hectares per annum of post-planting operations. James has a Bachelor of Science in Forest Management from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland.
