John Eckford, Senior Analyst, Advisory Services, provides analytical and forest modeling support to New Forests' advisory clients. He has experience in forest estate valuation and supply chain planning. Prior to joining New Forests, John was consulting on carbon forestry programs in New Zealand and Brazil. He also worked for four years at Carter Holt Harvey Forests in the central North Island of New Zealand and for one year as a Supply Chain Finance Analyst for Danone Waters in London. John has a Bachelor of Forestry Science (honors) and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand and also studied abroad for one year at the University of British Columbia, Canada.
