MaryKate contributes to advisory assignments and internal corporate and investment services. She also supports the administration and management of the San Francisco office. MaryKate has a background in environmental anthropology and tropical ecology, with two seasons of field research in the Peruvian Amazon on ecotourism and endangered giant river otters, macaws and primates. Previous work includes supervising an annual ecotourism research program in Peru, coordinating a conference on indigenous peoples in Latin America and a non-profit focused on avoided deforestation. MaryKate is a double graduate of Stanford University with a BA (honors) in Anthropological Sciences, a minor in Biology and a Masters in Latin American Studies. She is based in San Francisco.
