Stewardship Officer
Murray Jay, Stewardship Officer, specializes in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and is responsible for the mapping operations related to the New Forests’ assets under management. As part of the Operations team, Murray manages property and stakeholder issues related to assets in Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific region and supports activities related to Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) accreditation. Before joining New Forests Murray was a GIS officer at Integral Energy. Murray has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Resource and Environmental Management from Macquarie University. He is currently undertaking a Graduate Diploma in GIS at Macquarie University.
