Forestry Manager, Asia
Paul is responsible for forest asset management and supporting new acquisitions in the Asia region. Paul has 17 years of international forest management and consulting experience with a strong focus on tropical forestry. His first role was 9 years of line management with The Commonwealth Development Corporation (now CDC Group), based in the Solomon Islands. This led onto 8 years consulting with Poyry Forest Industry (formerly Jaakko Poyry Consulting) based in both Auckland, New Zealand, and then Singapore. He has a Bachelor's degree in Pure and Applied Biology and a Masters in Forestry and Land Use, both from Oxford University. He is also a full member of the New Zealand Institute of Forestry. Paul is based in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia.
