Stephen Yamasaki

Manager Modelling & Analysis

Stephen Yamasaki conducts ecosystem services modelling in support of eco product investments, focusing on carbon sequestration, biodiversity and habitat supply. Previously, Stephen was project manager and research scientist at the Quebec Institute for Hardwood Management, where his work focused on cumulative impacts assessment, modelling the impacts of forest harvesting, natural disturbance, stand dynamics and climate and population change on timber supply and biodiversity. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science (Agriculture) in resource conservation and PhD in forest ecology from McGill University. He was a post-doctoral fellow at Laval University and the University of Quebec in Montreal. Stephen is based in Washington, D.C.
